Warner Scheyer

Warner Scheyer is a software professional with over 20 years of software industry experience, including roles as an individual contributor, manager, and account representative. He has expertise in technologies and programming languages in a variety of professional environments and is a talented leader that can collaborate in ways that motivate and bring out the best in team members. Warner has produced quality software products within budget and on schedule and has notably strong analytical capabilities. He is fluent in many technologies including ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WPF, C++, SQL, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, ActionScript, AJAX, jQuery, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Expression Studio, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Working with Red Card Studios, Warner was part of WEATHERHEAD’s team developing and producing numerous multimedia interactives for the Museum of History & Industry in Seattle, WA (opened in 2012). He served as a multimedia software developer on a number of specific interactives, created a set of controls shared across multiple kiosks, and built out the database and functionality required assuming a Microsoft based server. He ensured that functionality was in place for seamless communication between WEATHERHEAD’s software and the database. As part of WEATHERHEAD’s team, Warner provides technical expertise and estimating on projects in development.

Warner spent nine years at Knowledge Anywhere, a custom eLearning company. As director of development, he managed a team of full-time and contract software developers, IT, graphics resources, and QA professionals. Other responsibilities include acting as senior developer, mentor, sales consultant, project manager, account manager, and solution architect. Under his leadership, the development/production team more than doubled in size and included additional full-time resources, an extensive network of contractors, as well as satellite offices in Minneapolis, Mexico, and Uruguay.
