“Take the Case: Chain of Evidence”

NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT MUSEUM,
WASHINGTON, D.C.

Objective:

To teach middle-school children (and the general public) about the evidentiary process and correct misconceptions about law enforcement and building a case against a suspect often perpetuated by television crime drama shows.

Services:

Concept development, story development, graphic design, development and deployment.

Description:

Players assume the role of a police chief called in to investigate an art robbery on the even of an important exhibition. The player must collect evidence using the correct tools, take the evidence to the lab to be analyzed, interview suspects, and present a compelling case to the District Attorney, all while following actual legal procedures outlined by law enforcement and forensic experts. Unless the player builds a strong case using sound forensics and police work, the thief could walk!
