“Play Blues Guitar”

Objective:

Give visitors a visceral experience of Chicago blues music by providing them with the means to play blues rhythm guitar and blues lead guitar as part of their visit to the exhibit, Amplified: Chicago Blues.

Description:

Give visitors the experience of playing 12-bar blues on the guitar. Visitors play basic blues chords, a bluesy lead line, and those who know how, can play whatever the like. Visitors can choose from a variety of guitar types and amplifier sounds. They play along with a blues band at the close of each activity using their newly acquired chops.
