Description:

D-Day shows the details of how controlling the air before, during, and after this epic battle enabled the Allies to control what happened on the ground. D-Day places the visitors inside the cockpits of the airplanes profiled, showing them what it felt like to have your teeth rattled and body jarred by the tremendous force of the engines. Pilots had to fully trust in their planes, as they were the only things standing between them and grave danger. One of four videos showcasing pivotal aerial campaigns of World War II in the Flying Heritage Collection’s Battlefront Theater.
