Andrea Weatherhead honored at ChickChat Seattle’s “The INFLUENTIALS”

On November 12th, 2014, ChickChat Seattle honored WEATHERHEAD Founder and Principal Andrea Weatherhead at “The INFLUENTIALS: Celebrating Influential Women of Design.” The event, held at Finerie CoLAB in Downtown Seattle, praised women who have made an impact in the areas of Fashion, Jewelry, Architecture, Interior Design, and Graphic & Software Design. ChickChat chose to recognize Weatherhead for her groundbreaking achievements in museum experience design.

This is not the first time Weatherhead has been honored personally for her contributions to the field. In 2013, Seattle Met Magazine named her a “Game-Changing Seattleite” in its list of Most Influential People in Seattle. Before that, her revolutionary work on EMP Museum’s Sound Lab earned her a feature in Kathleen McLean and Catherine McEver’s 2004 anthology Are We There Yet? Conversations about Best Practices in Science Exhibition Development.
